Building Surveyor

Our client, an independent project development consultancy comprising of Chartered Surveyors, Project Managers and Engineers specializing in property and construction services across Dubai and the wider UAE.

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor who will play a vital role in conducting various building surveying tasks, including technical due diligence, reinstatement valuations, dilapidations projects, and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting thorough assessments for property acquisitions, disposals, and investments. Contribute to detailed reports for clients.
• Support in completing valuations for insurance purposes, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
•  Aid in managing dilapidations projects, including inspections and negotiations between landlords and tenants.
• Collaborate with senior team members to maintain strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
• Work closely with senior surveyors to provide assistance across various projects, from surveys to report preparation.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited international institution.
2. MRICS qualification (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is desirable.
3. Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in building surveying, with expertise in technical due diligence, reinstatement valuations, and dilapidations.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
5. Strong technical expertise in building construction, defects diagnosis, and condition assessments.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used in building surveying and valuation processes.
