Quantity Surveyor – Power & Grid Projects
📍 Location: Flexible UK-wide (Projects across the North West & East, Midlands, and Scotland)
💰 Salary: £50,000–£70,000 + £6,000–£8,000 car allowance
📄 Contract Type: Permanent
🕘 Working Pattern: Largely remote – with site visits as needed
🗓️ Interview Process: 2 stages – initial MS Teams, then face-to-face

The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to join a lean, experienced commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor working on a range of energy and power infrastructure projects. The employer is open to backgrounds from various sectors, as long as you have solid experience with NEC and FIDIC contracts. The position is remote-first, with occasional travel to project sites across the UK.
Responsibilities

Full Quantity Surveying duties including cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

Administer and manage NEC/FIDIC contracts from pre-construction through delivery

Support procurement and subcontractor management

Ensure cost control and commercial compliance across projects

Assist with CVs, contract documentation, and bid/tender submissions

Visit project sites as required
