Our client are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support commercial operations on a major infrastructure project in Cardiff. This role involves managing contract administration, risk management, and cost control, ensuring profitability and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with subcontractors and advise on contractual issues.

Support project leaders with cost reporting and risk management.

Prepare financial statements, variations, and monthly progress reports.

Ensure commercial compliance with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 Option C).

Contribute to procurement, subcontract management, and final account settlements.

Lead on cost planning and measurement of quantities.

Maintain strong documentation and adherence to company procedures.
Requirements:

BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
-
4+ years of post-graduate experience (or 8+ years in a similar role).

NEC contract experience essential.

Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Experience in civils/building projects, knowledge of ISO standards
