Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage pre-construction activities, including project planning, feasibility studies, and budget estimation for institutional educational projects.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Conduct constructability reviews and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and solutions early in the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the development and evaluation of bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align project timelines and milestones with client expectations.
• Implement value engineering practices to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and functionality.
• Facilitate community outreach initiatives to engage and inform local stakeholders about project developments.
• Maintain documentation related to pre-construction processes and decisions.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a pre-construction management role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in pre-construction management, ideally within the education sector.
• Experience working with institutional projects and familiarity with educational facility requirements.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing pre-construction processes from inception to contract award.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and estimating for construction projects.
