Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Construction Project (Contract)

A leading construction project just north of Inverness is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team onsite. This is a high-impact role offering the chance to work on a landmark development, with full accommodation and transport provided.
Initially offered as a contract through to summer next year, this position has strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing:
Overseeing cost planning, procurement, and contract administration
Managing valuations, payments, and change control processes
Preparing monthly cost reports and forecasts
Collaborating closely with project delivery teams to ensure commercial success
Supporting risk management and value engineering initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Minimum 7 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally with a main contractor or consultancy
Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
Proven track record on large-scale construction projects
Proficiency in tools like CostX, MS Excel, and project financial systems
Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
