Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Passive Fire
Location: Swanley, Kent
Company: Main Contractor
Salay: £50,000 - £60,000
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a market leading main contractor that specialise within the passive fire protection sector operating within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate cost estimates, forecasts, and budget management.

Prepare, issue, and manage contracts and subcontracts.

Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with budget constraints.

Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and ensure works are in line with the contract.

Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Identify and mitigate any potential risks related to costs, schedules, or contractual issues.
-
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and legal regulations.

Provide regular reports to senior management on financial performance and project progress.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong understanding of FRA works (Fire Stopping, Fire Doors)

Previous experience managing fire safety projects is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

A keen eye for detail, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
