As the company continues to grow and secure new high-profile contracts, they are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The Role:

As an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in ensuring financial control and efficiency across a portfolio of projects. You’ll be involved from pre-construction through to completion, taking ownership of cost management, procurement, and commercial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for labour, materials, and timelines.

Act as the lead commercial contact for assigned projects, advising on optimal financial strategies.

*

Manage and monitor costs through all phases of project delivery.

*

Support procurement processes and provide advice on variations and cost implications.

*

Prepare and present accurate financial reports, forecasts, and updates to the Commercial Manager.

*

Oversee sub-contractor procurement, selection, and package management.

*

Manage variations, change orders, and commercial claims.

*

Ensure value for money while upholding quality and compliance standards.

*

Monitor and manage project cash flow, including order approvals and invoice tracking.

*

Prepare and submit monthly applications for client payments, ensuring timely recovery of funds.

*

Assess and certify subcontractor valuations in line with progress and contractual terms.

Candidate Requirements:

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an M&E Quantity Surveying role.

*

Relevant academic qualifications (Degree, HNC, or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline).

*

Strong commercial acumen with excellent cost analysis and negotiation skills.

*

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.

Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
