About the role

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leader as a Construction Manager specialising in residential medium-density construction. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a position that will allow you to utilise your extensive experience in the construction industry.

Our construction techniques are semi-commercial due to the nature of our sites, with the projects we are delivering up to the value of $30M. Key to your success in this role will be your technical construction knowledge and ability to lead your team to deliver successful results.

About you

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, ability to influence and an in-depth understanding of understanding of scheduling and resource planning.

  • You will have 10-15 years’ experience in the construction industry, preferably as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the construction teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ability to develop and implement project plans, schedules and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Detailed understanding of construction techniques and building codes and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and promotion of a safety culture on your sites.
  • Supervisor’s Licence would be looked upon favourably.
