Mission of Role

The mission of the Designer is to work with clients and team members to create interior environments that successfully fulfill the needs of the clients. The Designer should take pride in their work to create spaces that are pleasing, while at the same time being efficient, without errors.

Competencies (Must Have)

Education Requirements
- Interior Design Degree
- Prior Industry experience desired
Technical Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office desired
- Proficient in CET desired
- Proficient in ProjectSpec desired

- Ability to have a positive interaction with a variety of clients and other employees
- Have listening skills to understand the needs of clients and other employees
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills to be able to communicate ideas with clients

Outcomes

- Handle the workload of projects of differing sizes – large and small, to generate up to 5M+ each year
- Work with clients for all design related communication
- Create design layouts and packages that look great and will help sell the job
- Meet client deadlines for deliverables
- Lead showroom tours with clients
- Zero design related errors
- Project time tracking is completed and submitted weekly
- Attend weekly Project Status meetings with team
- Complete design presentations in design meeting
- Complete corrective trainings related to monthly NPS scores/errors
- Complete Haworth and other manufacturer trainings
