Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Organize and run project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update departmental organizational and quality control standards.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects.
  • Perform design computations and coordinate with project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation.
  • Detailed construction cost estimating and technical specification writing.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer License or equivalent.
  • 4-8 years' experience in civil design and task management.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders.
  • Working knowledge of DoD Unified Facilities Criteria.
  • Project management skills, including schedules and budgets.
  • Supervisory experience on project tasks.
  • Road/Highway design experience.
