Key Responsibilities:
- Develop contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Organize and run project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update departmental organizational and quality control standards.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects.
- Perform design computations and coordinate with project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation.
- Detailed construction cost estimating and technical specification writing.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer License or equivalent.
- 4-8 years' experience in civil design and task management.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders.
- Working knowledge of DoD Unified Facilities Criteria.
- Project management skills, including schedules and budgets.
- Supervisory experience on project tasks.
- Road/Highway design experience.
