We are recruiting on behalf of a major offsite construction company based near Newmarket, seeking a number of experienced Carpenters/Joiners to join their innovative production team.
About the Role:
Salary: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Our client is one of the UK’s leading offsite building specialists, as they continue to expand, they are looking for skilled carpenters/joiners to work in a factory-based environment assembling high-quality timber and modular components.

Key Responsibilities

Cutting and preparing timber/metal wall panels, roof cassettes, and project kits.

Assembly of components to exact design specifications and tolerances.

Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met.

Following health & safety procedures, including use of PPE and correct manual handling.

Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean work area.

Contributing to continuous improvement and safety initiatives on site.
What We are looking for:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry/Joinery (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a carpentry or similar trade role.

Experience working with modular builds, timber frames, or panelised construction (desirable).

Confident in using hand and power tools safely and accurately.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Able to follow technical drawings and work to precise specifications.

Comfortable working as part of a team and independently when required.

Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (essential due to location).
