A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in London is seeking a skilled MEP Revit Technician to join its dynamic Building Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for BIM and engineering design to take the next step in their career.
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Revit MEP experience
Role Overview:
The MEP Revit Technician will play a key role in the development and coordination of detailed 3D models for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems within a range of high-profile building projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and fellow BIM technicians to ensure models meet design and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce and develop detailed 3D MEP models using Revit MEP
* Assist in the preparation of coordinated BIM models across disciplines
* Maintain and update BIM models throughout the design and construction phases
* Collaborate with design engineers to ensure accurate representation of services
* Create 2D drawings and schedules derived from 3D models
* Follow company BIM protocols and support BIM Level 2 compliance
* Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural elements
* Contribute to clash detection processes and resolution
* Participate in project coordination meetings as required
* Assist with training and mentoring junior team members if needed
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on Revit MEP experience in a consultancy or contractor environment
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health systems
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Proficiency with AutoCAD (preferred but not essential)
* Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards
* Excellent communication and teamworking skills
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
