Yard Supervisor

Our client in the Stoke on Trent area is looking for a yard supervisor overseeing daily operations ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance.

Main duties:

* Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

* Stock checks

* Setting up your team for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning

* Ensuring all products are stored appropriately, to minimise loss

* Internal stock movements, Inter-Branch Sales and Transfers

* Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority

* Equipment and Plant daily inspections; site daily and weekly H&S inspections

Required Skills:

* Previous team leader or supervising experience

* Forklift Truck Licence

* Loading Shovel / Telehandler experience

* Product knowledge

* Customer service skills

Shifts:

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00.

Overtime may be required on Saturdays

Pay: £14.29 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.30 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week

Schedule:

* Monday to Friday
