The Structural Engineer will play a critical role in the design and inspection of transportation infrastructure, with a focus on bridge inspections and design. The role includes a combination of office-based design work and occasional fieldwork, specifically related to bridges, retaining walls, and other transportation-related structures.

This is a Temp to possible perm position that will be required to be fully on site.

Salary: $75,000 +/- Depending on experience

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering or design 
• Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD
• Ability to contribute to Structural design design work
• Ability to create detailed design drawings and calculations
• Familiarity with bridge inspection procedures, structural analysis, and design principles

Pluses: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
• Familiarity with transportation infrastructure design standards
• Knowledge of field inspection practices
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (from any state)
