Peace Recruitment are delighted to partner with a tier one main contractor who are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be the commercial lead in Scotland, for large-scale retail projects in central belt. This requirement has arisen due to secured pipeline of work for one of UK's premier main contractors.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project finances, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining profitability. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commercially lead the project
* Subcontractor procurement
* Provide accurate forecasts
* Financially control the project
* Employ effective value engineering.
* Employ the use of modern and cost-effective technologies where possible.
Requirements
* HND/Degree qualified
* Experience of managing design and build projects.
* Experience of working with a large main contractor
* Experience of managing and running commercial aspects of a project
* Experience of managing commercial staff
