About the Role
An established and growing multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. With over 30 years of industry experience, this consultancy provides expert Quantity Surveying and architectural design services across the Food & Drink, Healthcare, Logistics, and Laboratories sectors. Due to sustained growth, they are looking for a motivated individual to take on a key role within the team.
Responsibilities
* Independently manage a variety of projects across the UK, ranging from £100k to £100m.
* Work within a growing QS team while collaborating with an in-house architectural team and external design partners.
* Provide feasibility studies and early cost advice.
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and procurement strategies.
* Offer contractual advice and tender documentation preparation.
* Manage contractor selection, tendering, and cost analysis.
* Oversee cost control, change management, and financial reporting.
* Undertake Employers Agent and Contract Administration duties.
Requirements
* 10+ years of experience in PQS roles, with a strong understanding of both pre and post-contract works.
* Experience managing own project workload and delivering client-facing services.
* Strong initiative, communication, and organizational skills.
* Familiarity with Traditional JCT contracts; NEC experience is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with Employers Agent and Contract Administration duties is a plus.
* Degree-qualified in a relevant field; RICS Chartership is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
