Senior Commissioning Engineer

Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a Lead Commissioning Engineer for a tier 1 civil engineering civils contractor in Brighton.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and review commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for water supply systems.

* Coordinate with design, construction, and operational teams for smooth commissioning phases.

* Oversee equipment inspections, system testing (e.g., pressure, functional, performance), and FAT/SAT sign-offs.

* Monitor water processes and respond to alarms, faults, and issues.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety procedures.

* Maintain communication with clients, regulators, and project teams, providing progress updates and reports.

* Mentor junior engineers and assist in their development.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

* Experience in water industry.

* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., DWI, OFWAT, EA, HSE).

* Ability to manage commissioning tasks, identify risks, and apply appropriate control measures.

* Proficiency in using commissioning tools, equipment, and technology.
