We’re looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to oversee our multi-million-pound capital investment programmes, ensuring the long-term sustainability, safety, and quality of our housing stock.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and manage a high-performing team of surveyors and project managers, driving excellence in capital works delivery.
* Develop and implement strategic investment programmes, ensuring homes meet high standards of safety, sustainability, and resident satisfaction.
* Oversee large-scale refurbishment and maintenance projects, from planning and procurement to completion.
* Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and timely project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
* Engage with residents and stakeholders, ensuring works are delivered with minimal disruption and maximum benefit.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in building surveying, capital works, asset management, or property maintenance.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating staff.
* Expertise in building regulations, contract management, and procurement.
* Experience managing large-scale projects and budgets.
* A commitment to quality, sustainability, and resident-focused service delivery.
* A relevant degree or professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent is desirable).
