Key Responsibilities
Lead the production, coordination, and maintenance of detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems using Autodesk Revit, ensuring full integration across architectural and structural disciplines.
Support MEP engineers in developing accurate and coordinated models, including HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, plumbing layouts, cable trays, conduits, electrical equipment, lighting, and fire protection systems.
Generate project-specific outputs such as load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), riser diagrams, panel schedules, and annotated views from the coordinated models.
Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Surbana Jurongβs BIM standards, and internationally recognized frameworks such as ISO 19650.
Lead and participate in clash detection and resolution activities using Navisworks Manage, collaborating closely across teams to resolve spatial and design conflicts.
Manage and contribute to the preparation of construction drawings, coordination documentation, and model data sets through BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Drive modeling efficiency and consistency through the development and management of Revit families, BIM content libraries, templates, and automation tools.
Conduct thorough QA/QC checks to ensure models and extracted drawings are accurate, coordinated, constructible, and aligned with project requirements at each stage of delivery.
Coordinate with multi-regional teams across Singapore, Australia, the Middle East, and other locations to support global project delivery, ensuring smooth collaboration across time zones and disciplines.
Mentor junior MEP BIM modelers by providing technical support, reviewing outputs, and sharing best practices in model management and interdisciplinary coordination.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Bachelorβs Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
More than 10 years of BIM experience in the MEP discipline, with a strong focus on electrical system modeling and coordination.
Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with deep hands-on experience modeling MEP components and managing coordinated BIM environments.
Strong working knowledge of Navisworks Manage, including clash detection and coordination reporting.
Experience working within the framework of BIM Execution Plans, ISO 19650 standards, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Proficiency in BIM 360 / ACC platforms, including data management and model federation.
Demonstrated ability to create and manage custom Revit content, optimize modeling workflows, and apply automation tools like Dynamo.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to engage with engineers, consultants, and global teams.
Previous exposure to international projects and remote coordination across time zones is an advantage.
Autodesk certification is a plus.
