Pro Builder is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with extensive experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, specifically in building projects.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost plans for various building projects (architectural, civil, MEP). - Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost analyses using industry-standard software. - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate cost forecasting and reporting. - Review and evaluate contractor invoices and payment applications. - Monitor project progress and manage variations to ensure financial control. - Assist in the procurement process, including tender preparation and analysis. - Provide expertise in using software tools such as BIM, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, RSMeans, CostX, and Navisworks. - Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards. - Mentor junior quantity surveyors and contribute to team development.
Qualifications - Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a BSc in Civil Engineering/Architecture. - 10+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a contracting or construction firm. - Proven experience with building projects, including architectural, civil, and MEP works. - Proficient in industry software: BIM, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, RSMeans, CostX, Navisworks. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and organizational abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
