Quantity Surveyor
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Bristol. The business operates across several sectors with a portfolio of projects which includes defence, education, healthcare and commercial valuing typically from £10mil - £70mil. They have several offices across the country and have been present in the South West for a number of years, but are now looking to expand the team.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working alongside a Senior Surveyor on one of the upcoming schemes in the area, with shared package responsibilities. You will be reporting into the Area Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
Work alongside the pre-construction team through 2nd stage tenders
Manage sub-contract procurement
Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
Deal with final accounts
Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
Must hold a HNC / Construction related degree
Have experience working on projects administered via JCT and NEC forms of contract
Must have the full right to work in the UK
Must be happy to commute to Bristol and sites as required
