PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for a medium sized main contractor in Hertfordshire.
The organisation is a main building contractor who has an excellent reputation in the construction industry for delivering quality schemes ranging from £2M to £30M in value.
The company carry out work across all sectors; however their reputation is strong in the sectors of Commercial, Leisure, Retail & Industrial warehousing.
Job role: Quantity Surveyor
Rate: £350 - £380/day (DOE)
Duration: 1 year+
Location: Hertfordshire
Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:
Prepare tender and contract documents
Estimate material quantities, costs, labour, etc
Undertake cost analysis
Arrange payments and value completed works
Liaising with client and running meetingsKnowledge and skills:
Strong communication skills
Ability to work under pressure ans use own initiative
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Management role
Knowledge of construction and commercial awareness
