Pre-Construction Commercial Manager – Utilities, Infrastructure & Civils – London/Kent
We are currently partnering with a fully integrated infrastructure provider with proven success delivering the UK and Europe’s largest construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experience Pre-Construction Commercial Manager to join their team in Central London.
Responsibilities
* Cost Planning & Estimation – Develops detailed cost estimates, budget forecasts, and financial strategies to ensure project feasibility and profitability.
* Procurement & Contract Negotiation – Leads procurement strategies, negotiates with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensures favourable contract terms for the business.
* Risk & Compliance Management – Identifies commercial risks, ensures adherence to industry regulations (e.g., NEC, FIDIC contracts), and develops mitigation plans.
* Stakeholder & Client Engagement – Works closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to align commercial strategies with project objectives and funding requirements.
* Value Engineering & Cost Efficiency – Analyses project specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions without compromising quality or performance.
Requirements
* Ideal Candidate will come from a QS background with experience in Pre-Construction space
* Must be able to commute between Kent and London offices when required
