What You Will Do: 

• Perform sewer repairs up to 7 feet deep and deeper, using shoring equipment where necessary. 
• Work on trenchless sewer repair projects.
• Excavate around buried utilities, traffic areas, tight spaces, and near buildings, while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, mini excavators, and skid steers to dig, grade, and compact earth, sand, gravel, and stone for plumbing repairs.  
• Safely and efficiently operate various machinery for excavation and grading.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Follow and enforce all safety, environmental, and compliance standards on-site.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with additional duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with plumbers, supervisors, drivers, crew members, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Read and interpret measurements, plans, and blueprints as needed. 

What You Will Bring: 

• Proven plumbing experience, especially in sewer repairs.

• Proficient in excavating and performing sewer repairs in deep trenches (7 feet or more).

• Skilled in excavating around buried utilities, traffic, tight spaces, and working near overhead wires and buildings.

• Expertise in operating various equipment including backhoes, mini excavators, and skid steers.

• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and environmental requirements.

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret measurements accurately.

• Comfortable pulling trailers with equipment when necessary.
