About the Role:
Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to oversee mechanical and electrical works on their Edinburgh site. The successful candidate will manage M&E trade contractors, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate installation, commissioning, and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
* M&E Coordination: Organise and oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with building regulations and quality standards.
* Project Management: Lead the M&E aspects of the project from start to handover, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
* Liaison & Compliance: Work closely with utility contractors, suppliers, and Building Control, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted.
* Technical Support: Provide expert advice on M&E systems, work sequencing, and handover procedure.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in M&E coordination on construction projects.
* Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors and consultants.
* Experience with commissioning, testing, and final handover to Building Control
