On Call Frequency: 1 week in every 6 (Roughly)| If you are called out, overtime is paid door to door 1.5x

Due to a new contract win, our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Joiner to look after facilities across the region.
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the regional supervisor, this is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance across a number of sites. To Undertake Joiner works, repairs, maintenance and small works installation on a new framework covering various properties within the Edinburgh postcode. Works to be completed within agreed timescales whilst complying with company policy and procedure.
Key Accountabilities:
* To undertake planned works, working to an agreed programme, within live buildings, accommodation units and laboratory environments to name a few.
* Completing reactive work orders in the allotted time scale for each set of works.
* Working within and as part of the Technical Services Maintenance team and proactively identifying and consulting on task trends and recurring issues which may cause future maintenance problems
* Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works in accordance with contractual KPI’s.
* Identify non-repairable issues and promptly advise the Regional Supervisor of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable alternatives.
* Carry out minor small work alterations and installations in accordance with current specifications.
* Maintain accurate time sheets and mileage logs as required.
* Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all direct reports are adequately trained and follow safe systems of work;
