You’ll join a passionate and collaborative design team dedicated to enhancing spaces that enrich people's lives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful design projects in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your creativity and attention to detail will truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed floorplans, mood boards, and visual presentations.
- Manage FFE (Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment) orders across various suppliers and locations.
- Plan interior layouts, colours, furnishings, and fixtures to maximise space and style.
- Develop project drawings, cost estimates, and design proposals.
- Liaise with contractors and oversee on-site execution of design plans.
- Produce conceptual sketches, renderings, and other visual tools to communicate ideas.
- Participate in client meetings to present and revise design concepts.
- Assist with documentation reviews to ensure design specifications are met.
- Support supplier research, sample coordination, and budget tracking using Excel.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in interior design, ideally within residential or community-based projects.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Canva (preferred).
- Competency in Excel for supplier and budget management.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support others.
- Understanding of design trends, materials, and construction documentation.
