Graduate Electrical Quantity Surveyor

This role and all of our roles outside of Ireland include a full travel package covering flights, accommodation, travel and a daily living allowance reflective of the country you will be based in.

Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team on a cutting-edge data centre project in Sweden. You will work alongside industry experts, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other necessary documentation.
  • Support the management of costs relating to electrical packages, including ELV, BMS, high voltage, and medium voltage systems.
  • Work closely with the project management team to track costs and ensure project stays within budget.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in the evaluation of variations, progress claims, and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in regular progress and cost meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Keen interest in electrical systems and their application within large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Sweden for the duration of the project.
