We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Finishing Foreman to oversee and manage the finishing phase of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring that all finishing work is completed to the highest standards and within the specified timelines.
* Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
* Overseeing project schedules: Ensure that all finishing work is completed on time and within budget.
* Supervising construction workers and subcontractors: Provide guidance and direction to ensure tasks are performed correctly and promptly.
* Reporting on project progress: Keep senior managers and stakeholders informed about the status of the finishing work.
* Maintaining quality control checks: Perform regular inspections to ensure the highest quality of work.
* Coordinating teams: Organize and manage the movement of on-site labour, materials, and machinery.
* Day-to-day problem solving: Address any issues that arise during the finishing phase to prevent project delays.
* Signing off and handing completed work over to the client: Ensure that all work is finished to the agreed standards and specifications
The Candidate:
* Background in large scale mixed residential or commercial construction with a proven track record of successfully leading project teams.
* Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
* Good spoken and written communication skills
* Methodical, excellent attention to detail and accurate with an ability to co-ordinate a number of different priorities at the same time.
* Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative and willing to work in a team.
