An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a dynamic SME based in Worksop and scaling rapidly.

Client Details

My client is a rapidly growing SME business services company based in Worksop. Due to a period of growth, they are looking to invest in their finance team.

Description

This Finance Manager role is responsible for ensuring that all financial reporting requirements, day-to-day tasks and project work focusing on improving efficiencies within the finance team and across the wider business.

Specifically:

Assisting with monthly and year end reporting to stakeholders.
Preparation of month end journals (prepayments and accruals) and other month end procedures.
Working closely with external accountants on tax compliance and audit requirements
Completion of balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting any efficiency opportunities available.
Communicate effectively with the operational teams, highlighting any risks and driving efficiencies.
Preparation of Board Packs and associated content
Ensure suppliers are paid in a timely controlled manner, with coordination with Group and awareness of cash flow reportingProfile

This role would be ideally suited to candidates looking to take a step up or experienced accountants looking for a fresh challenge in an exciting SME.

The successful Finance Manager will have the following:

Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
Experience working within business services/trade and services/logistics ideal but not essential
SAGE 200 experience ideal but not essential
Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work on-site 5 days

Job Offer

Basic salary circa £45,000 to £50,000 + benefits
