ROLE SUMMARY

LOWE is the leading independent property guardian company, specializing in providing property owners with a professional, efficient, and low-cost solution to the issues arising from vacant buildings. In turn, we provide quality and affordable accommodation for London’s young professionals, keyworkers, and creatives. We have a desire to do things differently and disrupt the property guardian market for the better.

We are looking for a new team member to join our Property Services team. The ideal candidate must have experience in property maintenance and Health & Safety, as well as being highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our portfolio of guardian properties and be a part of a growing business with ambitious plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while ensuring full compliance with BS 7671:2018+A3:2024 (IET Wiring Regulations).

* Design and execute electrical installations in adherence to the latest 18th edition regulations and amendments.

* Inspect domestic and commercial electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.

* Diagnose faults, identify solutions, and ensure a safe and effective installation of electrical components.

* Provide professional assessments and expert advice for clients regarding electrical safety and compliance.

* Support the plumber, carpenters, and other maintenance operatives when required.

ROLE PROFILE

* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrician.

* Hold a current qualification that aligns with BS 7671:2018+A3:2024 regulations (e.g., Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations).

* Strong ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.

* Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, building plans, and wiring diagrams.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.

* Commitment to Continuous Professional Development to stay updated with evolving regulations and electrical industry standards.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Full clean driving license.
