Job Description

Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Taking on the role of project leader, responsible for overseeing and guiding the entire design project, from initial concept to final execution
• Managing and developing a team of junior and intermediate designers, assigning tasks
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact
• Keeping a close eye on project budgets and timelines, proactively managing any deviations and making strategic decisions to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget,
• Developing and executing long-term design strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals,
• Leading client presentations with confidence and professionalism, electively communicating design concepts, modifications and project progress to clients, stakeholders and team members,
• Collaborating with other professionals, such as architects, engineers and contactors to ensure seamless integration of design with architectural and structural aspects of the project
• Identifying potential risks associated with design decisions, project execution and client relationships, and implementing mitigation strategies to minimise project setbacks,

Qualifications

• Matric
• Interior Design Qualification

Skills

• 6 to 8 years’ work experience within Interior Design (High End Residential)
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp
• Capacity to develop innovative and unique design concepts and solutions
• Strong negotiation skills
• Own reliable car and valid driver’s license
• Non-Smoker preferred

Salary/Package

R20,000 – R32,000 CTC PM
