Concrete ganger in Margate ( CT9 area)
Role Details:
* Location: Margate (CT9 area) for 3 weeks then to Maidstone with ongoing works
* Start Date: 20/03/2025
* Duration: Ongoing
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-17:30
* Pay Rate: £19-20 per hour (depending on experience and CSCS card)
We are seeking a reliable and skilled concrete ganger. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ground worker to work with a large housing ground work company in Sussex, London, Essex and Kent
Role Overview:
As a Concrete ganger you will be required to be hands on with the works and supervising a small gang to carry out the below works and:
Key Responsibilities and works:
* Supervising a gang to carry out all aspects of concreting and finishing
* Experience in blinding, selcor, power floating and tamp finishing is essential
* Experience of concrete prepping for ground beams, pile capping and dropped cages is also essential.
* Following all health and safety procedures
* the works in Margate will be for approximately 3 weeks, with followed on continuing work at Maidstone for on going works.
Requirements:
* Must have CSCS card (ideally gold supervisors) and SSSTS as a minimum
* Experience as a concrete ganger r is essential
* PPE will be provided.
* Strong attention to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
