Civil Engineer

This position serves as both the Engineer of Record and sits in the Operations seat of the EOS model, leading the engineering function with clarity, integrity, and urgency. 

Leadership & Accountability

• LMA: Lead, Manage, and hold engineers accountable to outcomes, not just hours.
• Approve all technical deliverables, ensuring compliant, buildable, and smart solutions.
• Oversee engineering QA/QC processes and drive operational excellence with a fast-paced, no-drama, results-first mentality.
• Lead by example—set a high bar and bring others up to it. No micromanaging, just clarity and accountability.

Training & Development

• Train engineers and CAD staff with both technical skill and professional discipline.
• Build internal knowledge so that the team becomes self-sustaining—every engineer should get better under your leadership.
• Create and maintain a learning culture—training isn’t optional, it’s strategic.

Technical Oversight & Liaison

• Oversee all design work across civil and transportation engineering projects (aviation, roadway, infrastructure, land development).
• Serve as the technical liaison between the company and their clients, municipalities, contractors, and subs.
• Interpret regulations, secure approvals, and maintain compliance without compromising timeline or budget.

Required Qualifications:

• Alabama-licensed Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive civil/transportation engineering experience, including QA/QC and stamping responsibilities
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, project delivery, and technical excellence

• Comfortable operating in an EOS environment with defined roles, rocks, and L10 meetings
