We are working with a leading fit-out contractor within the construction industry, renowned for delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions to clients across various sectors, offering both consultancy and design and build services.

With offices across Yorkshire, they have built a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to expand their team with a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of success

The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be a key player in growth strategy, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and nurturing client relationships, and driving sales.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients

Generating leads and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation

Working closely with project teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to project delivery

Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to stay ahead of the competition

Representing the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities

Achieving sales targets and KPIs, with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission based on performance

You must have:

A passion for building client relationships, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

A proven track record in sales within the construction or fit-out sector

Strong understanding of the construction market, including trends, client needs, and industry challenges.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Self-driven with a target-oriented approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

A strong network within the industry would be beneficial
