As a Project Coordinator, you will work across multiple construction projects, supporting Project Managers in driving progress, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth project operations. You will play a key role in maintaining project schedules, reporting on milestones, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
This is a site-based role in Central London, requiring collaboration with project teams, contractors, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist project teams in producing and managing technical documentation, including Technical Submittals, Drawings, RFIs, Health & Safety returns, and Commissioning paperwork.
* Maintain and manage site-specific project document control requirements.
* Track and report on project accomplishments and progress.
* Provide status updates to senior management.
* Ensure all project teams operate within standard operating procedures.
* Maintain ISO 9001 & 14001 quality control standards throughout project operations.
* Interpret and understand contract specifications and project requirements.
* Prepare, manage, and update project schedules.
* Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and key deliverables.
* Ensure customer satisfaction by supporting smooth project execution.
* Provide support to less experienced team members, helping them develop skills and confidence.
* Work collaboratively to identify and resolve challenges within project delivery.
* Foster a positive and team-focused work environment.
* Support the development of trainee staff where needed.
Skills Required:
* Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads, and manage deadlines effectively.
* Good communication and people skills, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams.
* CSCS cardholder (or willingness to obtain one).
* Previous experience in document control within a construction project environment.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure project setting.
