Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination for Facility Design and Construction (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, and Architectural work).
- Assist in preparing the project master schedule, establishing the critical milestones and the relationship between the major activities.
- Assist in preparation of capital cost estimates and project control budgets.
- Assist in establishing the manpower planning for the project team and updating throughout project execution.
- Participating in the analysis and evaluations of solutions to technical problems.
- Assuring compliance with project schedule, control estimates and procedures.
- Establishing and maintaining client contacts on technical and project administration matters.
- The production of Facility layouts and Concept, Basic & Detailed design.
- Assist in preparing and review of all technical documentation required for the execution of a project including but not limited to technical specifications, Detail drawings, Equipment lists and review shop drawings.
- Taking leadership, adopting and implementing SNC-Lavalin’s HSE Policies.
- Coordinate, oversee and supervise the Site Construction Work and liaison with site general contractor.
- Project mechanical scope execution & completion to meet required schedule & quality.
- Document and maintain daily progress, make weekly plans as per priority, site conditions & material availability. Present progress review to the client.
Requirements:
- B.Sc Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project or Primavera is required.
- PMP Certification or equivalent is desired
- Comprehensive knowledge of GMP and biopharmaceuticals regulated environments. US FDA, MFDS (Formally known as KFDA), EMA and WHO regulations, food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
- Developed skills in process design and optimization.
- Arabic speaker desired.
