Mane Infrastructure are on the look for a Shuttering Carpenter to work as part of a team on a bridge project located in Clifton area (CA10).
A Shuttering Carpenter is responsible for creating formwork and molds used to support concrete structures such as slabs, beams, columns, and walls during construction. This role requires experience in reading technical drawings, measuring, cutting, assembling formwork, and dismantling it after the concrete has set.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction blueprints and formwork drawings.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood or metal formwork to the required specifications.
Set up shuttering (formwork) to support concrete during the curing process.
Pour and level concrete into prepared molds.
Strip formwork after concrete has set, ensuring no damage to the structure.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers on-site.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Working Hours:
07:00am till 17:00pm (Mon-Fri)
07:00am till 16:00pm (Sat)
Weekend work will be available at x1.5 uplift
