* Drive designs through RIBA Stages 1-4A, ensuring compliance with performance, efficiency, and resilience requirements.
* Work closely with internal and external design teams across multiple disciplines to deliver fully integrated engineering solutions.
* Manage resources, track deliverables, and ensure that deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
* Review technical documentation from contractors and provide oversight during the construction phase.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership across the team.
* Support the business development team in preparing bids and proposals within the mission-critical/data centre space.
What Were Looking For:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 8-10 years' experience in building services design.

* High proficiency in delivering mechanical systems design across the commercial, healthcare, residential, or similar sectors.
* Desire to move into the data centre sector and develop expertise in this growing area.
* Understanding of RIBA work stages, especially up to Stage 4A (tender).
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders.
* A working knowledge of related disciplines (electrical, public health, fire protection) is advantageous.
What's in It for You:
* Work on cutting-edge data centre projects without needing prior sector experience.
* Be part of a forward-thinking, collaborative consultancy that prioritises technical growth and innovation.
* Competitive salary and benefits, with clear pathways to Director-level leadership.
* A flexible, supportive work environment that champions wellbeing, mentorship, and professional development.
