Carpenter Required

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be adept at various construction tasks. This role requires a hands-on individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Cutting in roofs, dormers
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and finish products.
Carry out painting and finishing work as required to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
Engage in masonry work for structural support where necessary.
Conduct heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials and equipment on-site.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Experience in joinery, painting, masonry, and electrical work is highly desirable.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
