Installation Electrician – Commercial Fit-out / Construction Sector
(PLUS - Electrician’s mate)
📍 Location: Telford, Shropshire
💼 Employment Type: Contract – outside IR35 – Limited Co. / CIS / Umbrella PAYE
💷 Rate: £25.00 - £26.00 per hour
🕙 10hr days / 50hrs + available per week [Mon-Fri] – minimum 8 weeks contract
Are you a qualified Installation Electrician (OR Electrician’s mate) with a passion for working in commercial construction environments? We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused professional to join a thriving team within the construction & commercial fit-out industry.
This is a hands-on role for an electrician who enjoys working on installation projects across commercial premises and construction projects, working to tight deadlines. You'll play a key part in supporting projects, upgrades, and installation works.
Key Responsibilities:

Electrical installation of lighting systems, power systems and controls

Cable management, containment systems (tray, trunking), and panels

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and layout drawings

Supporting commissioning

Ensuring all work is completed to regulations and industry safety standards

Liaising with project manager, and contractors on installation timelines
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation

CSCS site safety & IPAF required
-
Experience in construction commercial fit-outs
-
Strong understanding of containment, controls, and safe isolation procedures

A proactive approach to safety and documentation
