Quantity Surveyor – Traditional Build Project | Cork
We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for a leading contractor for an exciting traditional build project based in Cork.
With a strong commercial acumen and 4–7 years’ experience in the industry to support the delivery of a new multi-storey residential/student accommodation scheme.
This is a great opportunity for a mid-level QS who is eager to join a fast-paced project team and develop their career with a structured pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and report project costs throughout the full project lifecycle
Prepare subcontractor packages, procurement schedules and tender documentation
Administer contracts and manage subcontractor accounts
Track variations and change orders, ensuring accurate cost control
Liaise with site, design and commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery
Support senior commercial leadership in budgeting and forecastingRequirements:
4–7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
Previous experience with traditional build projects (residential or accommodation preferred)
Strong understanding of Irish building contracts and commercial practices
Proficient in cost reporting and contract administration
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
