We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected and growing civil engineering business with over £20m in annual turnover. With a strong pipeline of work across Newport, Bristol and Gloucestershire, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded QS to take a lead role across a range of exciting projects.
About the Role:

Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of civil engineering projects

Projects typically include bridges, reinforced concrete structures, earthworks, and infrastructure

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to manage costs, contracts and valuations

Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and final accounts

Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering sector

Strong understanding of NEC contracts and construction law
-
Experience with bridges, structures, or infrastructure preferred

Confident communicator with the ability to lead commercial discussions and reporting

Full UK driving licence – travel between sites required
