We’re currently recruiting two skilled Carpenter / Fire Door Operatives to join our respected team. With over 20 years of carpentry experience and 10+ years specialising in passive fire protection, we’ve built a reputation for doing things properly—no shortcuts, no compromises. We take pride in delivering work to the highest standards and are now looking to further grow a professional team that shares our values and showcases how it should be done.
What You’ll Be Doing

Installing, maintaining, and certifying fire doors to meet current legislation and site-specific standards.

Completing carpentry tasks with precision—from first fix to finishing work.

Attending our Plymouth unit at City Business Park regularly for materials, meetings, and disposal of site waste in line with company procedures.

Using company systems to complete compliance reports and upload photographic evidence.

Working independently or as part of a professional, supportive team across a wide service area.

Upholding our reputation through consistent quality, safety, and client-focused service.
What We’re Looking For

Proven carpentry experience; fire door compliance knowledge highly desirable.

Strong IT skills to manage reporting and compliance documentation.

Friendly, respectful, and committed to continual learning.

Able to work solo or collaboratively on varied sites.

Willing to support company growth and uphold high standards.

Clean driving licence preferred; company vehicle available for the right candidate.

Own tools required—you’ll be expected to arrive equipped and ready to deliver quality work.

Enhanced DBS check required due to regular work in residential care homes and supported living environments.

Professional conduct essential when working with all clients, including care staff and vulnerable individuals
