Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Package: £45,500
Working Hours: Monday to Friday split week (7-4pm & 1-10pm)
Call Out: 1 in 7 weeks Call Out
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team, covering a commercial site in Cambridge City. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of a dynamic and well-established company that values quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on electrical & basic mechanical systems.

Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers and other compliance systems.

Carry out checks to building equipment and systems such as Generators, Splits, AHU/FCU’s, Motors, Pumps, LTHWS etc.

Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Participate in a 1 in 7 call-out rota to provide emergency support.
Requirements:

Required: Minimum Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering plus 18th Edition

Proven experience in a similar M&E maintenance role.

Strong knowledge of commercial building systems

Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Full UK driving license.
