We are currently looking to hire 4-5 Carpenters (one BM Trada certified), for our client based in Aylesbury, working on a secure project at Bicester Prison near Oxford.
This is a temporary contract with the potential for ongoing work.
The working days are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Rate of pay: £200-£250 per day (CIS).
The role will involve:
General carpentry and dry-line partitioning
Unloading and storing materials
Installing fire doors to regulation standards (set frame and doors for inspection)
Potential involvement in new-build wing constructionTo apply for this position, you must:
Hold a valid Blue CSCS card (Skilled Worker) - NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
Standard DBS Check is essential
Fire Door Awareness certification is preferred
Be eligible for CIS registration
Be local to Oxford or willing to commute
Have no unspent criminal convictions and not have served a prison sentence
