Multi-Skilled Engineer – Mobile Role (Northwest Region)
A leading national facilities management company is currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our growing team. This is a mobile role covering the Northwest region, including Manchester, Stockport, Chester, Stoke, and Derby.
Working Hours:

Monday – Friday

8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility required)

Company vehicle and fuel card provided

No on call – Overtime available
Role Summary of a Multi Skilled Engineer:
-
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues, ensuring resolution within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)

Deliver scheduled maintenance activities to a consistently high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations

Carry out testing and diagnostics to identify power quality concerns

Complete routine testing of emergency lighting systems and fire alarms

Interpret and work from technical drawings, manuals, and O&M documentation

Undertake installation work and system upgrades as needed

Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with company standards

Monitor site environmental conditions and evaluate the performance and load of essential equipment

Troubleshoot issues to determine root causes and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence

Keep accurate records of all work completed, including site logs and maintenance documentation

Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the role
Qualifications & Experience:
-
18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certification
-
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), including fault finding and basic operations
-
Facilities management experience preferred
-
Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH) desirable
