🔹 Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Approved Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of electrical installations, maintenance, testing, and inspection work across commercial projects — with a focus on quality, compliance, and safety.

This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently or as part of a team and ensure all works are completed to a high standard, in line with current regulations and client expectations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, test and inspect electrical systems and equipment across a range of projects.
Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations on domestic and commercial fit-outs.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Perform fault finding and remedial works efficiently.
Complete Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Works Certificates, and EICRs accurately.
Liaise with clients, site managers, and other trades where necessary.
Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.
Mentor and support junior electricians or apprentices, if required.

🔹 Essential Requirements

Fully qualified Electrician with AM2.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
City & Guilds 2391 / 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Current ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician grading).
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work from drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and health & safety practices.
