Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Location: Covering Aberdeenshire Council (schools, town halls, leisure centres, domestic housing)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading facilities management provider, for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join their team working across Aberdeenshire Council properties. This role is ideal for a qualified and experienced electrician who is looking for a secure, long-term position within a supportive and well-established engineering team.
Key Responsibilities

Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a variety of council-operated buildings, including schools, town halls, leisure centres, and domestic properties.

Carry out fault finding, repairs, and installations as required.

Participate in a 1-in-8 callout rota, with standby payments and minimum hours paid when called out.

Ensure all work is delivered in line with current electrical regulations and safety standards.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional working relationships on site.
Requirements

Fully qualified Electrician (18th Edition essential).

Testing and inspection experience is essential, particularly within domestic settings.

Experience in a similar mobile maintenance or facilities management role.

Full UK driving licence.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a wider team.
