Electrician (Multi-Site)
Location: Aberdeen, covering multiple campuses in the North East of Scotland
Salary: £37,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute lunch break)
Van: Provided for site-to-site travel (not for commuting)
Security Clearance: Basic Pre-Employment (BPSS)

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across multiple education sites.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete all necessary documentation.

Conduct electrical inspection, testing, and fixed wiring certification to current standards.

Maintain accurate logs of inspections and remedial actions.

Complete multi-skilled building maintenance tasks where required (basic plumbing, joinery, painting).

Conduct risk assessments prior to each task and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.

Use a PDA system for task management and submit daily work/time records.

Support additional projects, surveys, and reactive tasks as directed by line management.
What We’re Looking For
-
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Experience in commercial or public-sector electrical maintenance.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety best practices.

Good planning, organisational, and communication skills.

A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to assist with general maintenance tasks.

Full UK driving licence.
